Responsibilities

• Database Design and Development: Strong experience in designing and developing
  relational databases.
• SQL Proficiency: Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers,
  and performance tuning.
• Data Modelling: Ability to design logical and physical database models.
• Database Optimization: Experience in database performance tuning, indexing, and
  optimization strategies.
• ETL Processes: Hands-on experience with data migration, extraction, transformation,
  and loading processes.
• Version Control: Experience working with version control tools (e.g., Git) in database
  projects.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding of database security, including access controls
  and encryption.

Preferred Skills

• PostgreSQL Experience: Familiarity with PostgreSQL databases, including
  performance tuning and optimization techniques specific to PostgreSQL.
• Cloud Databases: Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL,
  Google Cloud SQL, etc.).
• Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash for
  automating database-related tasks.
